Sense to Solve offers Participatory Strategic Development Workshops using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® materials and methodologies. The methodology is an innovative, experimental process designed to enhance team work, strategy, innovation and performance.
Sense to Solve encourages participants to use LEGO® to “give your brain a hand”. This is because the hands (more than any other part of the body) have the most connections to the brain. With more connections and different connections, using your hands can help to bypass the rational brain and reach knowledge centres that are not as readily accessible.
This hands-on, minds-on, learning process, produces a deeper, more meaningful understanding of the world and its possibilities. The methodology deepens the reflection process and supports an effective dialogue – for everyone in the team and/or organisation.
Build landscape models with LEGO® bricks, while drawing on storytelling processes, metaphoric, symbolic, systemic and imaginal thinking. Play out possible scenarios, stimulate play and creativity, facilitate understandings, solve problems, reach consensus and recognise opportunities.
Sense to Solve offers a broad range of Participatory Strategic Development Processes using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® materials and methodology.
We can accommodate small, highly personalised strategic sessions and cater for large groups of up to 120 people.
The minimum time requirement for a session that incorporates LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is three hours. More intensive strategic sessions could take place over a number of days.
Sense to Solve uses LEGO® within other workshops and programmes, such as, Design Thinking, Future Sensing, Business model innovation, etc.
Most LEGO® sessions are custom designed to deliver on the specific business needs of different teams or audiences. However, the basic principles remain more or less the same (as outlined in the sample learning journey).
